The Andromeda is a 40-meter/130-foot liveaboard taking guests on diving safaris in the Red Sea. Aboard are 13 air-conditioned cabins with hot showers; the options range from a Honeymoon suite to queen-bed and twin-bed cabins: 1 honeymoon suite, 2 queen-bed cabins, and 10 twin-bed cabins, accommodating 26 guests. The European Salon offers a climate-controlled lounge area with modern amenities furnished in a European style. At the same time, the Arabian cafe serves as a nod to traditional coffee shop designs, offering shisha smoking, beverages, and authentic Arabic music.
The Andromeda has a 100-square-meter sun deck, offering ample room for sunbathing and a shaded area with deck chairs and cushioned seats. Additionally, a smaller sun deck near the captain's bridge and a covered deck in front of the salon provide perfect spots for relaxation between dives. The diving facilities include a large deck for gearing up, two hand-held showers for post-dive rinses, and a direct-access bathroom with a shower. Amazingly catered, cleaned, and prepared (snacks and medical supplies incl.) Hungarian owned, Egyptian operated boat.
We took the BDE route where the night dives were incredible, where we saw Spanish dancers, lion fish, and millions of fish light up the ‘sky’. During the day, we also saw groups of hammerhead sharks (on the reef and in the blue) and countless types of fish and coral in both the reef areas and the coral gardens.
