El M/V Spirit of Freedom es una moderna embarcación de 37m votada como el mejor crucero de buceo australiano por los lectores de Dive Log Australasia en 2015 y 2017. Spirit of Freedom ofrece viajes de 3, 4 y 7 días durante todo el año a la Gran Barrera de Coral, a los arrecifes del Mar del Coral y expediciones especiales al Far Northern para bucear por los remotos arrecifes. La edad mínima para viajar en el Spirit of Freedom es de 16 años, ya que el tipo de inmersiones que se practican requieren experiencia. Los snorkelers son bienvenidos en la excursión de ballenas minke (junio y julio) y en la excursión de 3 días de Cod Hole. Tenga en cuenta que el snorkel puede estar restringido debido a las condiciones meteorológicas, las mareas, las corrientes y otras condiciones ambientales, y sólo se permite el snorkel en los lugares considerados seguros. EPIC trip and I would recommend Spirit of Freedom to all my diving friends.
First live-aboard experience. ;-) Could not have asked for a better experience. From day 1, very organized with the luggage, the daily schedule and communicated very well with all of their expectations. The team worked together flawlessly for us to have a great time. They had systems in place and had the tanks re-filled almost as fast as we boarded the boat. Safety was high priority on their list and it showed through being clear with expectations and double-counting people after a dive. My favorite thing was having fins put on at the bottom of the steps - made me smile. Diving was great - luckily the weather was wonderful and we were one of the lucky ones to complete the trip without any changes or accommodations due to weather! So basically, the trip is eat, dive, eat, dive, rest, eat, dive, eat, dive, rest. It was a picture perfect week to say the least.

- The STAFF was Phenomenal - very friendly and very knowledgeable. The FOOD - both chefs that we had on board were AMAZING - and they even catered to dietary needs which was a real plus. May sound silly - but not having to touch fins - Loved our "Prince Charming" at the bottom of the third step.

Great Crew Services
We had Stateroom. Bed, room is comfortable except it's noisy. AC doesn't work right often. At least once a day, AC does not cool unless temp set point is reduced to 2 degree lower than current room temp.

“Finderella service made us feel like royalty!
Non stop activity and food! The captain did all he could to keep us out of bad weather and we were able to go to different dive sites than the “norm”. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff! We got to relax and dive and they took care of our gear after every dive which made us feel special. The “Finderella” service was top notch!!! Loved every minute!

Pleasant trip, but it could be improved by quite a bit
While the crew was very friendly, the promised one dive guide for every two divers never happened. It would have been nice to have guided dives. The tables/seats design could be improved by opening a few gaps in the middle, so people can get in and out more easily. The number of rules and regulations can’t be memorized.

Spirit of Freedom 3 night/4 day live aboard experience
I appreciate the, the helpfulness of each crew member in assuring our comfort and safety. I appreciated the readiness to be available to answer questions. I appreciated their expertise and knowledge. Not only were the dives great experiences the added value of being educated about the reef and marine life added to the experience.

It was truly an adventure that left a positive lasting impression, especially because of the amazing crew and great group of guests.
Four days were enough. Sleeping was a real challenge because we had to be underway three of the nights; one night in very rough seas and I had a forward bottom cabin. I got lifted and slammed with every wave we met. Lots of people were seasick. The captain had had to make a tough call and reroute us to an unplanned site because of sea conditions, but he knew what he was doing and warned us of the rough night ahead. The crew was impressive and worked hard to make sure everyone got their expected dives (except the night dive, which had to be cancelled), even when conditions were less than ideal getting on and off the boat. It was quite an adventure and hats off to the entire crew!
