Launched in 2021, the 93m Coral Geographer is a purpose-built expedition boat offering exploration cruises around the remote islands of the Indian Ocean. The newest addition to the Coral Expeditions fleet, she carries 120 passengers who can choose between 4 different kinds of well-appointed cabins with en suite bathrooms. The majority of cabins have a balcony. The main boat features include 1000 square meters of open deck space, multiple bars, a gym, and public areas featuring an Australian Indigenous art collection. The cuisine is prepared in small batches on board with high-quality Australian produce, served in the dining room on the Promenade deck in a combination of family table platters and table d’hote. You can also find a curated wine cellar with outstanding wines. Highly trained in safety standards, the experienced crew delivers the warm Australian hospitality and renowned expedition experience that Coral Expeditions is known for.
The Coral Geographer is a comfortable gateway to explore the remote, undiscovered islands of the Indian Ocean. A plethora of varied itineraries covers the coastal areas of Australia, New Zealand, Sulawesi & Borneo, and Mauritius and Zanzibar in Africa. The Coral Geographer specializes in exploring the Kimberley rugged coastline in Western Australia’s isolated northern region—stunning wilderness with steep gorges and waterfalls where you may find crocodiles basking in the sun.
