Construído em 2004 e completamente renovado em 2018, o liveaboard Seahorse oferece mergulhos o ano todo explorando Raja Ampat, Komodo, Halmahera, Triton Bay, Wakatobi, Celebes do Norte e o Mar de Banda. Os itinerários duram entre 10 e 12 noites e são planejados com cuidado para explorar as áreas mais remotas da Indonésia e te oferecer a melhor experiência de mergulho possível. As instalações de mergulho no barco incluem dois botes de alumínio para entrada e saída dos pontos de mergulho e uma equipe bem treinada cuidará do transporte do equipamento. Os fotógrafos são especificamente atendidos com amplas mesas para câmeras e um balde de enxágue exclusivo no deque de mergulho, além de uma sala para câmeras com estações de recarga e trabalho. A equipe tem experiência em lidar com todos os tipos de configurações de câmeras. Quatro divemasters garantem grupos pequenos e mergulhos incríveis. Nitrox também está disponível de graça para aqueles que forem certificados.
O phinisi Seahorse atende a apenas 16 hóspedes em oito cabines. Há cinco cabines duplas de solteiro e uma cabine de casal com uma cama de solteiro no deque principal, e duas cabines de casal com vista para o mar no deque principal. Todas elas possuem AC com controle individual, amplo espaço de armazenamento, banheiros privativos com água quente e fria, toalhas e produtos de higiene pessoal. As áreas sociais incluem o lounge e área de jantar internos com AC, entretenimento e biblioteca. Lanches e refeições preparadas na hora são servidos aqui, com uma mistura de culinária local e ocidental. Eating and the after dive drinks. Hot teas and fresh juices. The manta rays and dive guides worked well with the needs of our group! Felix’s briefings where honest and he is very entertaining.

Nice liveaboard and great diving
The crew and food was fantastic. Rooms were nice. Only complaint was the dive guides did not point out as many things as other dive guides we had on other liveaboards. Divers were put into groups with others with similar dive ability. Dives ended on air or time (~60 minutes). Crew was very careful with camera equipment.

Beautiful boat, immaculate service, and a great time!
Spending four days in Misool, where the sites were spectacular for both divers and snorkelers, was the high point. The lookout at Pianyemo was spectacular, as was the lagoon site nearby. Sitting on the prow of the boat at sunset made for wonderful memories. Night dives and a special night snorkel for the non-diver were fantastic!

Amazing trip!
We had a great time in Raja Ampat aboard the MSY Seahorse. The boat and our cabin were nice and comfortable, the crew was amazing, the food was delicious and the diving was fantastic! Everything was well organised by the cruise director Matthias and the crew was flexible to accommodate requests from guests. We loved our trip!

Exceptional diving and crew
The dive sites were world class. Full of healthy corals, colours and fish life everywhere. The crew onboard was extremely hardworking, all the diving gear and other material were perfectly organised and minded at all times. Extra activities such as a breathtaking viewpoint, a beach with sharks, a local village and a barbecue made my trip complete.

Great trip thanks to a great crew
If you book with Seahorse you get a great crew and great dive guides. When the boat is full it is a 4:1 ratio. The Seahorse is an old boat and the rooms are small; the toilet and shower are on top of each other in a small bathroom (you shower over the toilet). The outside area is very comfortable and a great place to be. The inside is not particularly pleasant. Although adequate, the rooms are poor for the price you pay. The food is also adequate but probably the worst food I have had in 5 previous liveaboards in Indonesia (all other trips were cheaper). In summary the price is not justifiable and trips should be 20-30% cheaper, they also add on a fuel surcharge. You should choose this boat if diving is your main and overwhelming factor for going, if not you can probably get better value elsewhere for the quality of the boat. Lets just hope they pay the crew well as this is what you are paying for!
