De Sunshine liveaboard biedt fantastische en budgetvriendelijke duiksafari's aan in de Rode Zee. Met een maximum van 20 gasten is er genoeg ruimte om tussen de duiken door te ontspannen. De met airconditioning uitgeruste indoor salon heeft een bar en een entertainment hoek. Daarnaast zijn er genoeg zitplekken zodat alle gasten tegelijk van een smakelijk Egyptisch en Westers diner kunnen genieten. Ook is er nog een outdoor lounge en een gedeeltelijk overdekt zonnedek met ligbedden. De cabines zijn simpel maar comfortabel en beschikken over twee eenpersoonsbedden, airconditioning, eigen en-suite faciliteiten en opbergruimte.
Tijdens een reis aan boord van de MY Sunshine vaart u langs de beste duikgebieden van de noordelijke en zuidelijke Rode Zee. De zuidelijke routes brengen u langs Brothers, Elphinstone, Daedalus Reef en de Salem Express. Deze route wordt gekenmerkt door ongerepte duikgebieden, sterke stromingen en grote vissoorten. Voor wrakliefhebbers is de noordelijke Rode Zee route de beste optie met duiken bij de wereldberoemde wrakken Thistlegorm, Carnatic, Giannis D. en Dunraven. Daarnaast krijgen gasten de kans om in de kleurrijke riffen van Shark en Yolanda te duiken. Er is Nitrox beschikbaar voor gecertificeerde duikers. Ten slotte biedt het ruime duikdek voor genoeg ruimte om uw uitrusting aan te trekken en op te bergen.

Good value for the money.
The boat is outdated but for the money it’s good. Very nice food. Super friendly and helpful staff. Only the dive guide was a bit moody on the briefings some days. Not enough hot water in the showers. Never hot after the second dive. Also never got a chance to dry the bath towels Disgusting how the boat was parked next to an old wreck of a boat full of smelly barking dogs, 20 of them. You also had to cross that boat to get onboard Sunshine. Luckily not among the dogs though. Slightly dangerous to step on a rope above the sea to get on board.

You get what you pay for
Mixed from the dive guides, it was always a rush and weren't always the friendliest. They did sort out a problem due to two sharing a cabin and not getting on, how ever it was sorted out in full and but a big damper on my trip for the whole week. In my opinion I won't go for the cheapest option again. This boat came around due to the boats and problems of them in 24/25 and yes it's cheap but I would rather pay a little more for a better experience in my opinion Nitrox was free because you got it maybe for a day here and a day there, the engineer kept disappearing to other boats, I will let you come to your own conclusion. The nitrox also run out after a couple of days

Experiencia/precio prácticamente insuperable
No es el barco más cómodo por distribución de espacio y está algo viejo pero compensado sobradamente por la proactividad de la tripulación y las abundantes y variadas comidas y bebidas. Respecto al buceo, hice la ruta Norte y se repitieron algunos puntos de buceo sin mucha variedad pero hicimos una nocturna en el exterior del thislergorm que requería mucha experiencia y mente fría por la complejidad que suponía hacerla con fuertes corrientes.

Boat was perfect for us, if you are there for the diving
Amazing boat - the staff couldn’t do enough for you and we were very well fed and looked after. As a vegetarian they took extra steps to make sure I was happy. The dive kit we hired was better quality than my stuff at home, so very happy with that. We were put into two groups, so around 6 people per guide, which we felt was comfortable. They gave us a great number of dives and really thorough briefing. For us this boat was everything we needed - you can spend more for a boat with bigger and more updated quarters, but for us it was all about the diving.

Probably best Price/Quality in the Red Sea
Food and staff the best of the trip by far, super friendly, gentle and attentive. A small remarks on drinks, they don't have alcoholic drinks aboard like other boats do so they don't make business with this, but you are welcome to bring your own drinks for the trip. Rental equipment absolutely remarkable with almost all brand new and high-standard brand. Scuba diving platform is huge, plenty of space to equip yourself and diving procedures in general are very good. Nitrox equipment more than sufficient for this kind of trip, some dives are with air and % is not spot on as they do it manually but nothing to worry about. Cabin is probably the worst of the boat as they have 8 cabins in the lower part of the boat, beds are around 1.90m, and the toilet is pretty small with the shower being the toilet itself, but it is the best they can do with 8 cabins in the same level. Upper level cabins bigger but they only have 2 available for guests, I did not see the toilets of the upper cabins. Still, you just need to get used to it and it is not terrible at all, we need to think that we are on a boat, not on a 5-star luxury resort! The boat could maybe be a little bit more clean, but nothing terrible. Don't get scared when jumping on board as their harbor spot is next to an abandoned ship full of dogs that you need to go through to jump in the Sunshine, so first impression can be shocking but then it is even fun if you stay on the boat during the resting day. Dive spots are a little bit different than boats departing from Sharm-al-Sheik as they need to make the way back to Hurghada. The rout is quite well optimized and you can see places than Sharm-al-Sheik boats don't go as Carnatic and Giannis-D wrecks, but for me there were some dives in average spots while we could have diven in other better places arriving a little bit later back to Hurghada. But I am not an expert as well on anchoring spots, so maybe there are some other limitations that I am not aware off. Lastly, this boat is very well known in Russia and normally more than half of the divers will be russian. This is not an issue at all but just as a though, as attitude and way of being is quite different to Europeans, so don't expect much interaction with other divers as they tend to stay within their own group and English level is not great on average. All in all, I would come back to this boat always if the price stays like this. Probably even if the price would go up slightly it would still be worth it as the more expensive boats don't offer that much of a diference on quality. Thanks to Hamada, Mahmut, Captain Mahmud, Ahmed, Bibu and all the rest crew, it was an awesome week!

Viajei sozinho e me senti muito confortável, apesar de ser o único brasileiro no barco. O staff estava sempre preocupado em nos atender da melhor maneira possível, os pontos escolhidos foram os previstos e quando mar ficou mais agitado eles se colocaram a segurança em primeiro lugar e mudaram o ponto de mergulho preciso para uma enseada protegida até que o mar acalmasse, onde mergulhamos e não fomos prejudicados. No tocante ao valor tenho certeza que o custo benefício é muito vantajoso e certamente indico fazer um cruzeiro no SUNSHINE
