Highlights
The Felicity is a Turkish gulet, 28 meters of varnished timber under twin masts, carrying 12 guests across two decks. Its 7 cabins are all air-conditioned and fitted with an en suite shower room, hot and cold water, a wardrobe, drawers, storage, and portholes that frame the passing reefs.
Life aboard centers on the indoor saloon, which features a bar, a TV/DVD player and music library, and a charging station for cameras and snorkeling gear. Out on deck, an open-air dining area, sun mats, and a large sundeck with sun beds, with a dhoni tender on hand to ferry guests to snorkeling points and islands. Meals are full board — breakfast, lunch, high tea, and dinner, plus welcome drinks and unlimited tea, coffee, and water — and on several evenings, we move ashore for a beach BBQ on a sandbank or a Maldivian theme night of Bodu Beru drumming and hedhika snacks.
Felicity sails conservation cruises: week-long snorkeling itineraries built around citizen science with partners such as the Manta Trust, the Olive Ridley Project, and the Maldives Whale Shark Research Program. Routes shift with the marine life — the manta itinerary runs north into Baa Atoll and the UNESCO-listed Hanifaru Bay, the whale shark cruise works the reefs off Dhigurah in South Ari Atoll, and the turtle voyage threads South Malé and Vaavu in search of green and hawksbill turtles. Between encounters, guests join reef snorkels, island beach cleans, and visits to local communities like Gulhi and Dhangethi.
