Highlights
The Safy Mar is a 44-meter (144 feet) steel-hulled liveaboard accommodating 34 divers plus 4 guides across five decks. Its 17 cabins are arranged over three decks: 4 on the high deck and 4 on the upper deck, both with panoramic windows; 7 on the more stable main deck; and 2 lower-deck cabins, all with large windows. Each cabin has a private en-suite bathroom, individually controlled air conditioning, a refrigerator, and a comfortable mattress, finished in warm wood and white with generous storage and wardrobe space.
Onboard, there are two saloons, one on the upper deck and one on the high deck, each with soft sofas, a library, an audio system, and space to review dive photos and footage together. Meals are served in a spacious dining room with comfortable seating and attentive service, and a coffee machine and ice maker are on hand throughout the day. The partially shaded sundeck is the social heart of the boat between dives, with sun loungers, beanbags, and a bar serving cold drinks.
The Safy Mar runs dive safaris across the Egyptian Red Sea, with itineraries spanning the northern, central, and southern routes. Northern trips take in the wrecks and reefs around Ras Mohamed and the Strait of Tiran, while southern and offshore routes reach St. John's, Fury Shoal, Rocky Island, Zabargad, and the Brothers. The schedule also includes dedicated technical, wreck, family, and underwater-photography departures. A large dive platform with freshwater showers, a camera workshop for photographers, and a separate technical-diving area with rebreather storage support every level of diver, and Nitrox is available on board.
