Pro Dive Cairns offers excellent value for money liveaboard diving to the Outer Great Barrier Reef, Australia, aboard the M/V ScubaPro I, II, or III. Perfect for budget- and time-conscious divers, the fully equipped ScubaPro liveaboards are identical, purpose-built dive boats designed to handle all varying weather conditions, offering a smooth and comfortable journey to the Great Barrier Reef. There are 14 centrally controlled air-conditioned twin-share bunk-bed cabins and 2 double-bed cabins.

The main deck is the hub of the boat, featuring a large indoor salon and dining room where meals are served, including a fully cooked hot/cold breakfast, hot and cold lunches, and a hot dinner. Snacks, water, tea, and coffee are available throughout the day. The top deck features a spacious sun deck, providing ample room for relaxation.

Aboard the M/V ScubaPro liveaboards, guests will explore the incredible marine biodiversity of the outer Great Barrier Reef at locations specifically chosen for their exceptional visibility and high-quality marine life. Up to 11 dives are available, including 2-night dives during the 2-night/3-day diving and snorkeling itinerary. The spacious dive deck at the back of the boat offers individual gear storage and ample room for kitting up. Nitrox is also available for those certified.

Fantastic, absolutely unforgettable experience
The amazing experience of diving on the Great Barrier Reef and diving and sharing the experience with my 19 year old grandson. The beautiful underwater “gardens” and unbelievable colourful fish - just amazing. The whole experience was incredible.

I can’t mention enough how incredible all the staff. Everyone was friendly and made everything very simple. We had guided dives when we were unsure of our skills as divers. The cook was amazing and made separate dishes for me (vegetarian, lactose intollerant), and there was always plenty of delicious food. The dive sites were incredible and we had beautiful weather. A perfect 3-day dive trip.

The team at Pro Dive Cairns was just perfect! Everything was planned and we only had to relax and enjoy the ride! Food was plentiful and delicious, super clean, not to mention how thorough they are about safety and briefings! Everything was amazing.
The crew helped me plan out my proposal to my (now) fiance. They really went above and beyond everything I expected. Ben, our chef for the trip, did an amazing job with every meal. Never felt hungry and always had some great food to eat. James, our dive supervisor, was really a fantastic person. He laid out every dive during our briefings and was very knowledgeable, funny, and patient with everything. He also genuinely seemed to care about us and the reef. Pro Dive Cairns is the best and I will return!

Crew moves like a well orchestrated ballet.
Great sites on the reef, making new friends, close encounters with turtles, sharks etc and just being on a nice clean boat relaxing. Food was terrific too!

The crew and diving experience exceeded our expectations.
The incredible gauntlet of bommies to dive though, along side, and over to view the awe-inspiring aquatic live that thrives on the Great Barrier Reef. It was great to experience how such a very International 24 guests and 6 crew members interacted and had such a great time together. The food was prepared fresh for each and every meal including desserts...so delicious.

Highly Recommended in Cairns!
The crew is so good! Before each dive, briefing will be provided. As it is unguided diving, I recommend that you need to be more adept at diving before coming. The diving site is quite nice and you can see almost all your dreamy creatures. The meals are also impressive, which include meat, vegetables and dessert. You will never get hungry!

A friendly and amazing experience for my First GBR visit.
The dynamism of the crew and the friendly atmosphere on board were greatly appreciated. The food was excellent, which is not so easy to get on a liveaborad. We had very nice dives at Flynn's reef and enjoyed the warm water even if the visibility was rather poor. It is a perfect experience while sharing with 31 other divers coming from everywhere on the planet..
