JapanWe encountered some mantas here, which was a decent experience, though the unorganized operation completely ruined the overall excitement. The night before, the guide explicitly told us to be fully geared up and ready to splash by exactly 7:00 AM because "the mantas wouldn't be there if we were late." However, after we rushed to be ready on time, we were left standing there in shock—the guide didn't even head out for his own check dive until after 7:00 AM. This total lack of planning and respect for our time was unacceptable.
