Tauchsafaris in Lost Blue Hole

Der Tauchplatz Lost Blue Hole ist eine Senkgrube mit extremer Tiefe. Es liegt ca. 16km östlich von Nassau. Es hat einen Durchmesser von 25m, beginnt in 14m und ist 90m Tief. Senkgruben entstehen durch Lufttaschen in der Erde die Kollabieren. Dadurch können diese ausergewoehnliche Tiefen erreichen. Im Lost Blue Hole findet sich ein farbenfroher Korallen-Wald, Seefaecher und Schwamme die das Zuhause fuer verschiedene Meeresbewohner, wie Schnapper, Bernsteinmakrelen, Nassau Zackenbarsche und Franzosen-Kaiserfische.

Probably the most incredible site of the entire trip. From the first experience of approaching the hole, descending to the cavern, and seeing turtles and coral wildlife on the rim and walls, I would come back here to explore this site in a heartbeat. We dove here three times, and I would love to do more.

This was a great dive site and had lots of wildlife such as a ray, blue parrotfish, crabs, and lobster.

Visibility was challenging this day, but I'm so glad I did the dive! I personally found the surrounding edge of the blue hole more interesting for fish but going into the blue hole was an experience in itself. In hindsight, I wish I had explored the cave in the hole (located at 70'). I was creeped out by the environment at the time as a newer diver, but would go there again and check out that cave. A few other dives had me nervous (shark dive, night dives) but the crew and other divers were so supportive. I did great and had so much fun!
