Tauchsafaris zum Cod Hole im Great Barrier Reef ist das Zuhause von riesigen Kartoffelzackenbarschen und ist Teil des Ribbon Reefs, 100km nördlich von Queensland. Das Cod Hole beheimatet neben den bis zu 60kg schweren Kartoffelzackenbarschen, auch riesige Maori Brassen, Solomon’s Süßlippen, Korallenforellen und Riesen-Stachelmakrelen. Das Wasser ist zwischen 22-29 Grad warm und mit etwas Glück können Sie im Sommer Zwergwale sehen.

The Cod Hole was amazing. I have always looked at the large Cod, and thought this was an encounter that rarely happened, but this was not the case. I was surprised at how friendly the Cod were and at how close we could get.
